What you pack for meals depends on where you sleep. Some of our stays have a full kitchen and an outdoor kitchen, some have a kitchenette, and some have a fire ring and a picnic table. Here is the whole list, so the grocery run matches the stay.
Full kitchen and an outdoor kitchen
Parkdale Ranch, River Ranch, and Valley Ranch each have a full kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, a BBQ grill, and a fire pit. Valley Ranch is the one with a commercial-grade kitchen, for the group that is cooking for a crowd.

Full kitchen
- Royal Ranch: a full kitchen, a BBQ grill, a fire pit, and outdoor seating.
- The Cabin: a full kitchen and a BBQ grill, plus a fireplace for the evening.
- The Phoenix: a full kitchen and a private deck.
Kitchenette
The luxury Airstreams have a mini kitchenette, with a private fire ring and outdoor seating outside. Plan on simple meals and cooking over the fire.
Fire ring only
The vintage Airstreams do not list a kitchen or kitchenette, and neither do the riverside yurts. Both have a private fire ring, and the yurts add a picnic table. Bring food that does not need a kitchen, and plan a dinner or two out.
Where to eat when you are not cooking
Whitewater Bar & Grill serves fresh American fare, craft cocktails, and local craft beer on its patio from April to October, with live music. Rooftop Social is our rooftop restaurant in downtown Cañon City, with craft cocktails, elevated pub fare, and panoramic views. Entrees at both start at $14.
