Traveling with a dog changes how you pick a place to stay. Here is our pet policy in one place, so you do not find out at the booking screen.
The short version
- Riverside Yurts: pets are allowed for $50 per dog. No aggressive or loud-barking dogs.
- Luxury homes (Parkdale Ranch, Royal Ranch, River Ranch, Valley Ranch): no pets, because of our allergy policy.
- The Cabin and The Phoenix: no pets.
- Luxury Airstreams and Vintage Airstreams: our listings do not allow pets. We suggest confirming with us before you book.
Why the yurts work for dogs
Each yurt has a private fire ring and a picnic table, and the Arkansas River is steps away, so there is plenty of outdoor space to share with a dog. Quiet hours run from 10 PM to 7 AM, and our policy excludes aggressive and loud-barking dogs, so think honestly about how your dog handles a new place at night before you book.
Plan a trip with a dog
- Bring your own leash, bowls, bedding, and enough food for the whole stay. The yurts do not have kitchens.
- Pack a flashlight or headlamp for evening walks and trips to the shared restrooms.
- The Arkansas is a working whitewater river, so keep your dog leashed near the water.
- Check the per-dog fee and the policy with our team if you are bringing more than one dog.
If your dog cannot come along on the adventure
Rafting and ziplining take you away from your stay for hours. A full-day rafting trip runs 6 to 8 hours, so plan ahead for where your dog will be while you are out, or choose a shorter outing.
